West & Central Scotland IA covers a wide geographical area in the west and central region of Scotland. We primarily offer mutual support and advice to people with ileostomies and internal pouches across the area. Although members with other stoma types are also welcome to join us.

Members receive the IA Journal and an update on local events four times per year. In addition, the group offers a visiting service, members meetings, open days and welfare grants to members. We support stoma care and colorectal departments in all the hospitals in our area in a number of ways, including providing financial grants (eg. paying for equipment, supporting specialist training courses/events).
